What are Fluffy French Bulldogs?

A “fluffy” French Bulldog is a term used to describe a French Bulldog with a longer, softer coat compared to the typical short and smooth coat of the breed. This longer and softer coat is caused by a genetic mutation that affects the dog’s fur texture.

While French Bulldogs are not traditionally known for having fluffy coats, occasionally, due to genetic variations, some Frenchies may exhibit this trait.

Fluffy Frenchies are purebred French bulldogs. They possess a fluffier coat due to the presence of the LH gene, setting them apart from the traditional breed. Despite this slight genetic variation, they remain true to their purebred French bulldog lineage.

Due to their uniqueness, Fluffy French Bulldogs often attract a lot of attention and interest from dog lovers and potential buyers. ❤️

My Breeding Philosophy

My Dame and Sire have a calm and sweet disposition (Not Hyper). I look for good conformation, championship bloodlines and above all a calm character. These pups are bred for great temperament, beautiful and healthy structure and overall health. Both mom and dad have great breathing!

My Dame was bread after at least 2 heat cycles – never the first. Typically, Dames can have one litter a year; however, if they have two litters they get a break. Frenchie’s should never have more than four litters in a lifetime.

My pups are home loved and are absolutely not puppy mill products. They are raised in my home, and I go above and beyond to treat them like my own kids. I do this because they are so cute and cuddly, but also it makes them very sociable for the new families.

Mother and puppies sleep in my bedroom with me. Once the pups are more mobile and curious, they get an upgraded larger pen and also sleep with me in my bedroom.

I watch mom very closely, monitoring her temperature and watching for signs of the start of labor, and continue daily monitoring of her and pups every day – their weights are recorded twice a day and the whelping area cleaned and changed daily.

Did you know puppy mills have mortality rates of 30%?!

My dogs are with me at all times and are family raised from day one. My dogs are fed the best foods: human grade food, plus extra special treats like chicken and steak! Their diets are supplemented with vitamins, yogurt, omega 3,6 and 9 oil. Everyone is kept current on shots and worming. Hygiene is also very important in my house. Our dogs and pups get regular vet checkups and will come with a certified vet checkup upon arrival to their new home.

I worm at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks and start first shots at 6 and 9 weeks. I start the weaning process from mother beginning the fourth week or later depending on how mom is reacting to continued nursing – aka when they get teeth! I guarantee our pups will be healthy when they go to their new homes at 10-12 weeks. I also guarantee against life threatening genetic defects, and you will get a one year health guarantee.

You will get a DNA result for your pup as well and they will be health panel cleared – meaning they carry no copies of any genetic diseases tested. Be wary of breeders that breed dogs with even one copy of these genes. I give full breeding rights to all puppies; however I do ask you a lot of questions about your plans for the dogs.
